“You Don’t Say!”
This is the final part to the Quest for the Golden Hot Dog web comedy produced by Michael Busch, winner. Yeah, I’m in this too. Don’t blink!
I miss those sunglasses.
This is the season finale of a web series called The Lone Wolf that my friends Chad Fogland and Bennie Arthur produced and directed. I was an extra in the last 2 episodes but I recommend you watch it from the beginning. Its an action comedy in the vain of Lorenzo Llamas’ The Renegade or The Fall Guy. It stars Matt Peters with an assortment of LA Comedy Who’s Who. This episode features David Mendenhall (the kid from OVER THE TOP all grows up), Don “Hollywood” Yates (‘Wolf’ from American Gladiators) Ron Lynch (Tom Goes To The Mayor), Spencer Brown AND MANY MORE!
Enjoy!
At 3:19 I say “Thumbs Down” to the Baron. I make the motion and I say it aloud. And the Bomber is still wearing my Mirrored Aviators.
Pt.II Preparing for Victory
Watch me float around in the background of this thing! There I am! There I am again! Hey, those are my Mirrored Aviators…which are now broke. :(
I am not an actor, but I play one on the internets.
I’ve concluded that because of my Midwest upbringing I have too much of a conscience for Hollywood.
Why is December is so busy? I’ve been double-booking my nights since before Thanksgiving! Sunday was the first chance I’ve had to do laundry since the middle of November and I even had to go to my office Xmas Party. My clothing sitch has gotten desperate, Ive been digging back through the hamper like a hobo. And I haven’t even started on X-mas presents! (Except for my co-author AliUptown, I spent the most on her this year.) And while galavanting around here in Hollywood I’ve been running into a lot of celeb!
I don’t want to brag, but I see famous people all the fuckin’ time. So I don’t get starstruck too often or even acknowledge the existence of actors because they are just people but yes, at times, I am obliged to engage a famous person when they float into my periphery. I know it’s uncool to do this in L.A. so my personal rule is not to talk to someone unless I am telling them that I genuinely admire their work or really have something to say. How that actually comes out can be somewhat problematic but let me give you a couple of examples from the past few days.
I wanted to give you the heads up that one of my Top 5 favorite songwriters and a fellow NE-LA transplant Tim Kasher will be the musical guest for The Midnight Show @ the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Hollywood on Sat, Dec 6th.
Tim is best known as the frontman of Saddle Creek bands Cursive and The Good Life and has recently made his foray into writing with his script for Help Wanted Nights to which he also wrote a soundtrack released as the last The Good Life album.
The Midnight Show happens @ the UCB on the first Saturday of the month and is kind of like SNL but a bit dirtier. It’s sketch comedy with a guest host, viral comedy shorts and a musical guest. The show also features and extremely talented cast, many of whom could conceivably be on SNL someday. This month’s guest host is Dax Shepard (Idiocracy).
Admission is a measly $5 and you can brown bag it. You will need a RESERVATION to get in and with this Host/Musical Guest/Cast Combo, this show will inevitably fill up FAST. Go to the UCB’s Website and RSVP now!

From now on I want to spell October as Octobre…I think it will look nicer on posters. Novembre gets it too.
So what is going on in Hollywood on Halloween? I haven’t a Zombie-fucking clue! Unless I find an EPIC party, I’m just gonna get sexy and dance like last year, wherever that may be. But the day after will be a sweet treat for sure. On Novembre 1st after your hangover has been subdued by a rush of sugar via snack sized bags of black and orange M & M’s you can head over to Hollywood Forever Cemetery (6000 Santa Monica Blvd) from 4 – 11pm for Dia De Los Muertos. Be sure to put a sugar skull on Johnny Ramone’s Statue. More info @ LadyOfTheDead.com
