Album Review: The Little Ones “Morning Tide”

I say this in the least dickish way possible, but Los Angeles’ The Little Ones current sound makes them the perfect opening act. There is a positive energy to the music that gently raises you up without rocking you so much to ever become obtrusive. They aren’t breaking boundaries, they are just making music. The guitars have a chime and shimmer like a doorbell choir and hardly a hint of distortion. The rounds at the end of “Everybody Is Up To Something” are the peak of The Little Ones frenzy which hardly breaks a mezzo forte.
