Black Joe Lewis is a blues guitarist based out of Austin, TX and his music has definite personality …to say the least. His guitar work (maybe its someone else playing lead) is that good kind of sloppy that the Rolling Stones always tried to replicate, like Muddy Waters on a bender. The songs are full of colorful explitives and a storytelling style that is rough and captivating. This is a very solid EP and one successful in the fact that after hearing these 4 songs I WANT MORE! And I’m not even that big of a blues guy.
