True Blood Premiere at the House of Blues, Chicago 9.4.08

…I had no choice but to RSVP. The venue could not have been more fitting. The Foundation Room at the House of Blues is dark, cavelike-a place I could imagine vampires would find very comfortable. I certainly loved it, not to mention the free booze and food (who said bacon-wrapped scallops and red velvet cupcakes aren’t dinner?). On a side note, both times I’ve been to the House of Blues in Chicago, I’ve walked from work (about a mile), and it’s been raining. It’s a nice walk, SANS DOWNPOUR.
