Once again, Filter Magazine has given AvantTrash the hook up, and we must pass the blessings on to our readers. Up for grabs is a signed copy of The Little Ones‘ debut album on vinyl, Morning Tide and a t-shirt. The music of TLO has been described as ‘freakishly infectious’, and I dare you to be in a bad mood after listening to them. Dare ya.

Here’s a little taste of The Little Ones, with a music video for their title track, “Morning Tide”. It’s fun, sunny California, put-you-in-a-good-mood music. And as I’ve said before, handclaps make me happy.

Now to the good stuff: Apparently, The Little Ones’ name came from gutarist/singer Edward Nolan Reyes’ 2 pugs. Adorable, huh? Here’s my favorite Little One (swing your peepers to the left).
