And by neat, I mean adorably vulgar, just the way I like my ladies!

I loves Chelsea Handler. I loved her first show (The Chelsea Handler Show), and I like the new one (Chelsea Lately) too. She’s so sweet and unassumingly slutty. Dare I say she’s the female equivalent of Tucker Max? Yeah, I don’t think too many people will go for that. But her books are a compilation of her one-night stands, and the hilarity that ensues (Metatron was right, sex is a joke. It’s a brilliant idea. One I’d had years ago-and of course never patented. D’oh! Story of our lives, right co-author?

Hey and how bout that Amy Sedaris. I’ve stated on this blog before my love of Strangers with Candy. It’s a show I quote entirely too much (“You don’t wanna beat me or screw me? What kind of marriage is this? Bring a book”). I remember the first time I saw a picture of her sans ‘Jerri Blank’ make-up, it was in Kevin Aucoin’s book, Face Forward. She’s adorable! Even when discussing vaginal cleansing, during a visit to Chelsea’s show.

These two ladies together are quite a force. Amy-the woman who taught Martha Stewart how to make a grilled cheese sandwich in prison using an iron (before Martha went to prison), and who also gave Martha a squirell-shaped bong, that she said was packed. And Chelsea, who, when she discovered her parents having kinky sex when she was 7, took pictures of it. The two women have nailed self-deprecating behavior, turning it into an art form, and a hilarious one at that. Neither one of them is for the faint of heart, and for that, I salute them.
