I don't know if you've heard more of their stuff or not, but it's so worth grabbing. I've traveled pretty far a few times to catch this band. Their live act is absolutely enticing, uplifting, and they rock you out in the most beautiful of ways. From my Myspace blog: I'm super behind on movies, but put the Oscars on anyway to see what was up. Only caught the last hour, but it was enough to see Glen Hansard from The Frames win an Oscar!!!!!!! I didn't even know they were up for one. I was freaking out and jumping around. I know it means nothing to anyone else on this board (save MarQ, he knows about the goodness of the Frames), but I was just thrilled to see an artist like that make it. About seven years ago I danced all the way through the New Pornographers set with Glen and my friend Letty. We had the biggest blast together. I was watching last night and joking to Mike about how awesome I was because I had actually danced with an Oscar winner. Whooooohooo! GO GLEN!!! WHAT A FUCKING GREAT DEAL!!!!
