Diablo Cody will not keep it up. One and done. Just another washed up stripper in Hollywood with a good story (and a golden statue) to tell.

A yes to all your "There Will be Blood" predictions, But then again, Daniel Day Lewis can do no wrong in my book. I wasn't a HUGE fan of the movie, but again, that man is flawless. I liked Juno, even though I was told many a-time that it did not live up to it's hype. Too adorable a cast not to like.

Once is not Moulin Rouge, never fear. Once is a very simple movie where not much happens. The music is also simple, but compelling. It's worth seeing it for the music.

I'm a big fan of Julie Taymor's theatre (sans the Lion King). However, Across the Universe was too inconsistent for me. There were moments of brilliance...and then moments of terrible disconnect. The best moments were achieved when she stuck to her roots... Balinese trance dance, Javanese puppetry, color saturation, etc. It is an interesting concept...using Beatles songs to tell a story about the 60s decade where The Beatles didn't exist.

Loved Juno far more than I liked Little Miss Sunshine last year. I'm so sick of people comparing Juno to that movie. The Academy doesn't like Juno because it became so mainstream...and a stripper wrote it...and it has a happy ending. They're jealous bastards.
